Description
Esther’s 2.0 is now hiring for a bartender!
Hourly base: $12-$14 + tips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service while engaging with guests professionally.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and menu offerings.
- Create specialty drinks according to house recipes and presentation standards.
- Accurately handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
- Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout shifts.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing bar duties.
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Upsell premium liquors, featured cocktails, bottles, and add-on experiences.
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and professionalism during high-volume service.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and TABC regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and bar operations.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude required.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- Evening, weekend, and late-night availability preferred.
- TABC certification preferred or required.
