Clinical Science Project Specialist

As a Clinical Science Project Specialist, you will partner closely with Clinical Scientists, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, manage critical deliverables, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain project-specific tracking tools and dashboards, ensuring information is current, accurate, and ready for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate and track clinical training activities, clinician assignments, and project-specific resource planning activities.
• Support Clinical Scientists and project teams by coordinating project activities, deliverables, meetings, and communications.
• Schedule and manage internal and external training sessions, meetings, and project-related events.
• Manage project communications and facilitate collaboration between sponsors, clinicians, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for project teams and communicate the status of clinical deliverables and project milestones.
• Participate in kickoff meetings, status meetings, project reviews, final deliverable discussions, and other study-related meetings.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and coordinate activities required to keep projects on track.
• Use judgment and critical thinking to assess customer inquiries and determine when escalation is required.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, objectives, dependencies, and timelines.
• Support the successful delivery of client and project team expectations through proactive coordination and problem resolution.
• Create, maintain, and organize project documentation, action plans, reports, training records, and communication logs.
• Ensure clinical science deliverables meet scope, quality, timeline, and documentation requirements.
• Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, communication, and operational effectiveness within the Clinical Science organization.
• Support special projects and other assignments as directed by leadership.

What We Look For

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting client-facing projects, programs, clinical trials, healthcare operations, or related business functions.
• Experience working within a project team environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information and identify practical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong facilitation, coordination, and meeting management capabilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration within cross-functional and global teams.
• Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach with a positive attitude and strong sense of accountability.
