Job Description:
This job is responsible for completing projects which enhance finance systems, processes, and solutions across the business in compliance with policies. Key responsibilities include working with the business, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan and deliverables that may include Technology and People-Process change and/or Automation leveraging emerging technology. Job expectations include performing day-to-day project activities and being involved in the execution of project planning, business analysis, testing and business operational readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Executes project deliverables for all phases of the project while working with various partners and user community
- Completes required documentation, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness activities within project timelines
- Identifies upstream and downstream impacts associated with project related changes and/or decisions
- Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Control requirements
- Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management
- Partner with GVG/BFC teams to define business requirements and to translate these into actionable backlog items for our Technology partners.
- Define test criteria and the coordination of user acceptance testing with the BFC teams.
- Perform business analysis across program and Prioritization of the development backlog.
- Leading tech planning and review meetings and Communication of technical enhancements and new product releases, providing training where required.
- Assisting in the streamlining and enhancement of BFC processes
Required Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of Valuation Control processes and reports.
- Prior experience working on a project is desirable.
- Understands complex products and their valuations.
- A self-starter, that is organised and detail oriented.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A strong business partner with an ability to influence effectively.
