General Purpose

Pilatus is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will Direct, support, and assist assigned team in the fabrication and/or installation of aircraft structural modifications.  You will also inspect all structures work accomplished by team to ensure compliance with established specifications, regulations, and quality standards.  Take your career to the next level with Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. 

We are currently hiring for the following 2nd shift: 

• Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 12:30am

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Leads team of structural technicians and ensures completion of assigned project aircraft within allotted time frame and budget
• Installs, modifies, and fabricates aircraft structural assemblies and associated components in accordance with engineering drawings, and VV specifications closely aligned with AC43.13-1B
• Trains, instructs, and orients new team members in associated work assignments to meet production requirements
• Performs inspections of incoming parts and aircraft incoming and outgoing inspections
• Ensures work is preformed to the highest degree of safety and quality standards per FAA regulations
• Maintains required records and completes work order tasks in a timely manner
• Verifies that all technical data utilized is applicable and of current release 
• Performs supervisory responsibilities for a team of assigned technicians, including timecard and time off approvals and annual performance reviews
• Ensures that work accomplished meets customer specifications, established quality standards, and procedures and reports any deviation to appropriate personnel

Other Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of shop equipment, tools, hangar, and work areas
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director Aircraft System Integration
• Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime as required

Requirements

  Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with structural fabrication and integration on PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft
• FAA Airframe License required, A&P preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Tech Data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong attention to Detail and uphold High standards of accuracy and quality
• Proficiency in general computer use and MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• This position involves access to technology that is subject to U.S. export controls. Any job offer made will be contingent upon the applicant’s capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

The hiring range is $33.27 - $46.92 per hour. A shift differential of $3.00 is paid for 2nd shift in addition to base pay. This range represents Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd.’s estimate of the compensation reasonably expected for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant skills and experience, education, job location, internal equity, market data, and business considerations. The hiring range may be modified in the future based on business or market conditions. Any bonus, incentive compensation, benefits, or other forms of compensation are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans, programs, and policies and may be modified in accordance with applicable law.
