Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) Housing Program has an exempt position opening for a Housing Program Director working full-time (35 hours per week) based in Tell City, Indiana.
The Director oversees the facilities and operations of the residential properties owned and managed by LHDC. LHDC owns and operates 647 affordable rental units across the southern Indiana region. The Director also oversees the Housing Choice Voucher Program. The Director supervises the housing team and is a member of the LHDC Management Team, assisting with strategic planning, budget preparation, policy development and oversight. The Director will be committed to, and representative of, the mission of the organization in performing all the essential functions of the position. Travel to LHDC Housing Locations, offsite meetings, and trainings on a periodic basis will be required.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Management, Administration, or correlated discipline is preferred, an associate’s degree and/or related year of experience would be considered. Applicant must be a licensed real estate agent or be willing to obtain the license within one year of hire. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and travel locally and out-of-area as necessary. Must be able to pass the necessary background checks required for the position.
LHDC staff work a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday.
