Description
The role
You'll own new business for HitPay's core payment acceptance products in your market — winning SMB and mid-market businesses that want to take payments more simply and more cheaply, across online and in-store channels. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying role: you'll prospect, run demos, handle commercials and objections, get partners live, and set them up for long-term growth on HitPay.
You'll sell into a competitive market where businesses already have a bank terminal, a global gateway or both. Winning means understanding how each business actually takes money today, and showing them a better setup.
What you'll sell
- Online payments: payment gateway, plugins for platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix, payment links, invoicing and recurring billing
- In-person payments: POS app, card terminals, Tap to Pay and QR payments
- Payment methods: cards, local real-time bank payments, e-wallets, BNPL, plus cross-border and tourist payment methods
What you'll do
- Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, events, and referral and platform partners
- Run discovery and product demos tailored to verticals such as F&B, retail, e-commerce, education, fitness and travel
- Design the right acceptance setup for each partner — channels, payment methods, hardware and integrations — and build the commercial case versus their current provider
- Negotiate pricing within guidelines and close deals; work with Onboarding and Risk to get partners through KYB and live quickly
- Drive early activation and volume in the first 90 days, then hand over cleanly to Account Management, or keep growing the account where agreed
- Keep CRM data accurate and forecast reliably every week
- Feed what you hear in the market back to Product and Marketing — competitor moves, missing features, pricing pressure
- Spot partners who would benefit from CFO Stack products and bring in the CFO Stack team
What you'll bring
- [2–5] years of closing experience in B2B sales, ideally in payments, fintech or SaaS selling to SMBs
- A track record of hitting or beating quota in a high-velocity, full-cycle sales role
- Comfort prospecting: cold calls, walk-ins, LinkedIn, events — you create your own pipeline
- Enough technical understanding to talk through integrations, checkout flows and terminal setups with business owners and their developers
- Familiarity with your local payments landscape (real-time payments, card schemes, merchant acquiring, e-wallets, BNPL) and its SMB ecosystem
- Clear, confident communication in English and [local language(s)]
- Self-driven and organised, with a strong sense of ownership
How we'll measure success
- New partners signed and gone live against monthly and quarterly targets
- Processing volume (TPV) and net revenue from new partners in their first 90 days
- Time from signed to first transaction
- Pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy
