Internship - Data Engineering

Together with the Digital Manufacturing Solution Vertical Integration Solution global team, you will contribute to enabling Smart Manufacturing (Industry 4.0) by applying AI problem-solving technology (mathematical optimization) on the production floor to control and optimize material flow within manufacturing and the supply chain. The focus area will be Global data quality for scheduling. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Data & Model Analysis: Analyze the correlation between data quality and model quality, and identify the key data required for good model quality. Troubleshooting Methodology: Digitalize troubleshooting methodologies and processes on model solutions. Documentation & Training: Provide documentation and training on digital troubleshooting tools. Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with multi-disciplinary stakeholders such as production, supply chain, industrial engineering, and capacity planning. Internship Learning Outcomes: Manufacturing Knowledge: Gain a practical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and production scheduling solutions. Data & Model Relationship: Understand the relationship between data quality and model performance. Analytical Methods: Learn to apply data-driven analytical methods to identify meaningful trends in quality, reliability, and performance. Technical Presentation: Deliver a final technical presentation summarizing findings, recommendations, and measurable project outcomes. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Education: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science (preferred). Technical Experience: Experience in problem modeling and data engineering. Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and as a team player in a global setup.
