Job Description

It is an exciting time for our Enterprise Core Technology portfolio as we transform critical business functions with leading-edge technology. We are seeking an exceptional IT Lead – Supply Chain with proven experience in leading the solution architecture, design, and delivery of complex transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee acquisition integration architecture, business process design, and underlying systems and technology frameworks. You will drive cross-workstream solution delivery for complex initiatives, merging acquired companies into Motorola Solutions’ enterprise ecosystem, including ERP and CRM platforms. Acting as a pivotal leader, you will guide cross-functional teams of internal personnel and external partners.

Scope of Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Architectural Leadership: Provide overall technical and business architectural direction across portfolios, programs, and functional domains.
  • Framework & Process Design: Develop standard templates and procedures to map business processes against new projects, acquired entities, and new product offerings, ensuring high-quality, repeatable architectural decisions.
  • Integration Playbooks: Author standardized playbooks adopted IT-wide to streamline merger and acquisition (M&A) integrations and cross-enterprise deployments.
  • Strategic Roadmaps: Apply a consultative approach to partner with business and IT workstream leads, conducting acquisition integration analyses, building solution blueprints, and executing multi-phase delivery roadmaps.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Proactively manage integration priorities and facilitate architecture and design reviews with executive, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Team & Delivery Management: Lead cross-functional internal IT teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions using an Agile delivery model.
  • Architecture Governance: Research, evaluate, and establish best-in-class software, tools, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application teams, program managers, onsite/offshore partners, QA teams, and third-party vendors to translate business requirements into cohesive, end-to-end technical designs.
  • Scalable Solutioning: Evaluate short- and long-term architectural trade-offs for complex business challenges, recommending scalable, durable solutions suited for hybrid ERP environments.
  • Design Sessions: Facilitate solution design workshops with business partners, system integrators, and technical teams to translate business logic into detailed technical specifications.

Desired Background, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Oracle ERP Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Oracle ERP architecture and core business flows, including Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Lead-to-Revenue (L2R), and Demand-to-Deliver (D2D).
  • CRM & Cloud Integrations: Proven experience integrating enterprise ERP systems with Salesforce, alongside working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  • Agile Delivery: Demonstrated track record delivering complex technology initiatives within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Strong analytical acumen with the ability to diagnose systemic challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend sound, data-driven technical decisions.
  • Stakeholder & Influence: Proven ability to build trusted partnerships, influence senior leadership, and align cross-functional teams across diverse skill sets and experience levels.
  • Execution & Ownership: Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain robust project documentation, and consistently deliver on commitments.
  • Global Teamwork: Adept at fostering a collaborative, accountable team culture across geographically dispersed and matrixed organizations.
  • Executive Communication: Skilled in crafting and delivering clear, persuasive technical and strategic presentations to audiences ranging from engineers to executive stakeholders.

Target Base Salary Range: $130,000 USD - $145,000 USD
