Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and warehouse personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and other documentation related to daily activities, observations, and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
