Oracle Transport Management (OTM) Functional Consultant

The OTM Functional Consultant translates operational business requirements into OTM configurations and solutions, supporting process digitization across

transportation planning, execution, and settlement. This role bridges functional

business users and technical teams to ensure successful delivery within the Rhenus 4PL Control Tower.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement-gathering and documentation sessions with business

and operations teams.

• Configure OTM modules for order management, shipment planning,

execution, and freight billing.

• Collaborate with integration teams for EDI (204, 214, 210, 990) flow

validation.

• Support UAT, training, and go-live readiness activities.

• Assist in post-implementation support and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of OTM functional modules and transport processes.

• Knowledge of rate management, routing guides, and carrier setup.

• Familiarity with SQL, OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, and EDI standards.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of transport management system experience with minimum 2 OTM projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT/Supply Chain; MBA preferred.

• Experience in logistics or shipper-side implementations advantageous.

• Smooth UAT sign-off and end-user adoption.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills – able to engage with IT,

Operations, and Finance teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for workshops and go-lives.

• Strong background in logistics and supply chain processes.

• Prior experience working within a 3PL or 4PL operational setup
