- Supporting regulator outreach, standards-body participation, and industry engagement on AI governance.
What we need to see:
- J.D. degree with a record of strong academic performance.
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience in technology regulation, privacy, data governance, or AI, gained at a law firm, in-house, or in government.
- Working knowledge of AI regulation and a genuine interest in how AI technologies are developed and governed.
- A license to practice law in California and a willingness to work out of our Santa Clara headquarters.
- Extraordinary communication and project management skills, including writing, presentation, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- In-house experience advising on AI, privacy, or technology regulatory compliance, ideally in the high-tech industry.
- Technical familiarity with machine learning, AI model development, computer systems, or programming.
- Familiarity with intellectual property, privacy, and cybersecurity topics as they relate to AI.
