LOCATION: Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man or UK with some travel across the Crown Dependencies where required.
SALARY: Competitve package
WORKING PATTERN: Full-time, with agile and hybrid working arrangements in accordance with business requirements and the Group’s applicable working policies.
What you’ll be doing:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead Economic Crime Prevention activity across the Crown Dependencies, covering the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey businesses.
As Senior Manager, Economic Crime Prevention, you’ll provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Crown Dependencies’ arrangements for managing money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, sanctions, bribery and corruption, fraud and other relevant financial crime risks.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Economic Crime Prevention arrangements are appropriately designed, implemented, governed and evidenced across the three jurisdictions. It involves building positive relationships with senior collaborators and second-line and third-line risk and compliance functions. It ensures the business understands and manages its economic crime risks effectively.
The role operates at the centre of a complex regulatory and operational environment. You’ll balance local legal and regulatory requirements alongside Group standards. This includes customer outcomes, operational resilience, commercial priorities, and the business's strategic ambitions within the Crown Dependencies.
You’ll lead a multidisciplinary ECP function and work closely with colleagues across Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention, Operations, Technology, Data, Legal, Product, Customer Services and the wider business. You’ll also play a pivotal role in modernising ECP capabilities through simplification, automation, digitalisation and responsible use of data and artificial intelligence.
