The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Internal Controls & Compliance SME (m/f/x)* at Solventum, you will own, maintain and further develop our Procure to Pay control environment. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across PtP Operations, Internal Audit and SOX, and External Audit to keep our controls effective as processes and systems evolve. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Maintaining the PtP SOX control framework and adapting it to business, process, and system changes
  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality, and timely execution of controls across the PtP function, including validating selected controls to monitor compliance
  • Developing and maintaining an operational control framework that covers both standard SOX controls and key operational (non-SOX) controls
  • Maintaining and developing the continuous monitoring framework
  • Advising on controls for PtP projects and system changes
  • Preparing documentation for audit requests, including process flows, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and issue summaries
  • Analyzing control failures to find root causes and recommend improvements to the control environment
  • Leading PtP remediation of Internal and External Audit findings in collaboration with Internal Audit
  • Coordinating all audit activities between PtP Operations and Internal Audit
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement across the PtP organization

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
