We are seeking a reliable and skilled truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and driving heavy trucks to deliver products to clients and businesses.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of safety.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.
- Reporting any mechanical issues or accidents to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong knowledge of road safety and regulations.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
