Entry-Level Technician - Hall Ford

Job Description

Hall Ford Elizabeth City is looking for a motivated automotive technician who is ready to take their skill set to the next level. We have a rare opening for an entry-level technician/mentee on our Ford service team. We are looking for candidates with experience or automotive trade school background for this opportunity. Pay based on experience, $15 - $19 per hour.

Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform appropriate repairs
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair
- Document work performed on repair order

Technician Qualifications:
- ASE or automotive manufacturer certifications, 1 year automotive shop experience, or comparable automotive trade school background
- Valid Driver’s License, with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (reckless driving, DUI, etc.) in the last 3 years

- Candidates under 21 years of age only allowed one moving violation/no major violations
