Description
Overview
A private Mother in Lake Oswego, Oregon is looking for an experienced, caring, and proactive ROTA Nanny to care for her 4-year-old son. The position follows a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule, with the Nanny staying in the family's private pool house while on rotation. Her son is currently in his second year of preschool and attends school Monday through Friday from 8a-3p. As he has gotten older and started school, the role has shifted to focus more on afternoon and evening care, meal preparation for him, planning activities, and helping maintain a consistent daily routine. She is looking for someone who has experience working with children who struggle with emotional regulation and can bring a patient, calm, and understanding approach to their care. Finding someone who can provide consistency, structure, and a positive environment while building a strong, long-term relationship with her son is very important to the mom.
Schedule:
Full-time ROTA position with a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation (Sundays are usually spent with the grandparents and the child sleeps over. This is usually the Nanny's day to herself but must understand if something comes up she still is "on call")
24/7 on-call availability while on rotation
Private pool house accommodations provided while on rotation
Occasional domestic and international travel with the family, primarily during school breaks, including spring break, summer, and fall breaks.
