As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Image Review in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a financial institution, you will help maintain a professional, secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, verifying badges, and assisting visitors and employees. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen persons and permitted items entering designated areas using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; communicate prohibited-item or access concerns to site leadership.
• Verify visitor credentials, direct guests to appropriate locations, and maintain accurate visitor and screening-related documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, lobby areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
