POSITION SUMMARY

                As a Facility Technician you will perform various tasks required by Operations & Maintenance to ensure the building runs smoothly for the duration of the shift. This includes the transport of tools, supplies and pallets throughout the building.

Performing battery swaps and preventative maintenance on equipment and other tasks as needed by the operation.

               

                RESPONSIBILITIES

                ·         Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

                ·         Change batteries as needed

                ·         Wash batteries

                ·         Water batteries, filling

                ·         Collect and record runtime data

                ·         Monitor reports for underperforming batteries

                ·         PM batteries, check water systems, check specific gravity, check cables, repair cables

                ·         Maintain battery charges, racks and clean drip trays, clean rollers

                ·         Maintain RoboWrap batteries, change as needed

                ·         Manages pallet flow, repairs, reports, transports, delivers, retrieves and loads/offloads trailers in support of operational needs 

                ·         Housekeeping duties as assigned or immediate to battery change / pallet build area(s)

                ·         Helps to coordinate, load(s) and unload(s) all recycling materials as needed

                ·         Loads and operates corrugate to baler as needed

                ·         Housekeeping duties as assigned or immediate to battery change area(s)

                ·         Move up to 50lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation

                ·         Supports overall function as needed 

               

                QUALIFICATIONS

                ·         High school diploma or equivalent

                ·         1+ years Warehouse environment operating a Forklift

·         1+ years of experience using power tools to include saws and drills with proper safety precautions

                ·         1+ years of experience in basic Forklift equipment, driver

                ·         1+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical basic components
