JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the leadership and coordination of the information Technology Services of the organization. To manage entire spectrum of the Information Technology Department; applications/systems, information security, infrastructure, and any ad hoc operational matters.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Strategy - Create and maintain emerging technology in line with organization needs. Spot new technological trends and its potential impact on the business.
• Governance - Ensure policies and strategy in compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Drive emerging technology adoption to various stakeholders to obtain buy-in. Effectively align mid and senior executive stakeholder expectations through working and steering committees.
• Implementation - collaborate with the C-Level suites, lines of business managers to establish plans, business requirements and project priorities.
• Budget - Manage annual technology development budget and any associated funds. Specifically, to be responsible for the review, audit, and prioritization of all technology initiatives.
• Service - Organize and implement servicing and support of all technology stack. Manage IT security, audit, compliance, production and disaster recovery requirements to protect company information and assets
• Staff - To line manage and develop the technology team, working with them to plan and prioritize their workloads, set objectives, conduct appraisals and supported to continue improving their performance and results.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• A Master’s Degree (MBA / MSc in IT / Digital Transformation) is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications would be advantageous.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5–8 years in a senior management or leadership role.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. financial services, government-linked companies, large corporates) is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in managing the full IT spectrum including:
  • Applications and systems development
  • IT infrastructure and cloud services
  • Information security and cybersecurity
  • IT operations, service management and disaster recovery
