About the role:

This role would suit an established Family Law Partner, Special Counsel or senior practitioner looking for a platform where they can build, lead and grow. You will primarily be working with high-net-worth and private client family law matters, which includes:

• General parenting arrangements.
• Parenting disputes involving risk issues, family violence, substance use or complex family dynamics.
• Property settlements involving businesses, trusts, companies, SMSFs and investment structures.
• High-net-worth property matters, including complex asset pools and financial disclosure issues.
• Spousal maintenance and child support matters.
• Binding financial agreements, consent orders and separation agreements.
• Mediation, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution.
• Family Court proceedings where matters cannot be resolved commercially.

The ideal candidate:

• Experienced family lawyer, ideally at Partner, Special Counsel or senior practitioner level.
• Strong technical family law experience.
• Established referral network or genuine appetite to build one.
• Commercial, client-focused and confident managing matters autonomously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a practice.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and leadership skills.
