Overview
We're seeking a Manager to join our Corporate Tax Business in Scotland. This is a permanent role based at either our Edinburgh, Stirling or Kirkcaldy office. You'll manage your own portfolio of clients while working with Partners on delivery of corporate tax services. A significant part of the role will be to oversee the corporate tax compliance offering as well as providing training to the existing team and creating a specialist field of technical and/or sector knowledge and expertise. Responsibilities include managing compliance cases, undertaking consultancy work, providing exceptional client service, identifying opportunities on client portfolio, staff management and development, liaising with Partners, appraisals/monitoring staff performance, and providing on-the-job training for junior staff. The role also involves business development activities, reviewing financial statements and sales reports, and implementing property emergency plans.
