Job Title: Sr. Manager- QA/QC and  R&D

Experience :      15 years Minimum experience in construction chemical (QA/QC R&D)

Objective of the Role

To deliver consistent quality, drive innovation, and support business growth through strong QA/QC systems and effective R&D in construction chemicals.

Job Responsibility

1. Quality Assurance & Control

• Establish and maintain robust QA/QC systems and processes
• Ensure consistent product quality across all manufacturing locations
• Monitor compliance with standards, specifications, and customer requirements
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues

2. Product Development & Innovation (R&D)

• Lead development of new products and formulations aligned with market needs
• Optimize existing formulations for cost, performance, and sustainability
• Evaluate alternative raw materials to reduce dependency and improve margins
• Support customized solutions for key projects/customers

3. Technical Support & Business Alignment

• Provide technical support to sales and projects teams
• Ensure successful product trials, validations, and approvals
• Align R&D and QA activities with business goals and growth drivers

4. Raw Material & Supplier Management

• Qualify and validate new raw materials and suppliers
• Ensure consistent quality and performance of incoming materials
• Support procurement in cost optimization and risk mitigation

5. Process Improvement & Standardization

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Standardize testing methods, benchmarking, and evaluation protocols
• Implement best practices across plants

6. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with:
  • Internal standards
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Customer specifications
• Maintain proper documentation (TDS, MSDS, QCDN, MTC, etc.)

7. Team Development & Leadership

• Build and mentor high-performing QA/QC & R&D teams
• Enhance team capability through training and knowledge sharing
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation
