Location: Pensacola, FL
Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group - Airport Medical Park
Schedule: Day | Full-time | Monday - Friday
What You Will Do
- Welcoming and interviewing patients, accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, and preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit.
- Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers
- Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting.
- Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
- Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- One year of medical assistant experience is preferred.
