Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dedicated and experienced Night Lead in Jackson, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading a production team, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and maintaining quality standards at a busy tire recycling facility. - Overseeing nightly plant operations, including production, safety, and quality control.
- Supervising and supporting a team of general laborers and machine operators.
- Monitoring workflow and making adjustments to meet production goals.
- Enforcing safety policies and ensuring compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Communicating shift reports and maintenance needs to management.
What you’ll need:
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment.
- Willingness to work overnight (4 PM – 4 AM) and occasional weekends as needed.
