Summary: Join our team as an Unarmed 3rd Shift Security Officer, ensuring the safety and security of our premises during nighttime hours. This role is crucial for maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors, preventing unauthorized access, and promptly responding to incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Perform regular inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure
- Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or hazards to the appropriate authorities
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, and provide assistance as necessary
- Maintain clear and concise logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist with crowd control and ensure orderly conduct during events or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors
Required skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations effectively
- Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
