Overview
The Queen's Aerospace Design Team (QADT) is seeking an Enhancement Manager to support their research and development of advanced UAVs for national and international competitions. QADT is a team of over 150 undergraduate students developing high-performance and autonomous UAVs, with recent projects including a 3D printed airframe VTOL for urban fire mapping and a heavy-lift quadcopter for fire extinguishing. The team also conducts research in various fields including compliant airfoils and hybrid electric aircraft engines. This role offers unique opportunities for development and growth in technical areas like Aeromechanics, Electrical, and Software, as well as research experience and business/management skills.
