Our Bread and Pasta Makers are responsible for the daily preparation of bread and pasta served in our restaurant. A background in bread- and pasta-making is preferred. Applicants should be creative and passionate!

Required skills and qualifications to be a Bread and Pasta Maker with Alta Via Fox Chapel:  

• 6 months of experience in baking or pasta making OR completion of culinary education.
• Able to follow written recipes and supervisor instructions·      
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others

Physical requirements for Bread and Pasta Maker with Alta Via Fox Chapel:

• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
