Data Engineer
Experience: 5–8 Years
Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to design, build, optimize, and support scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices, with experience in CI/CD, Terraform, and modern data architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps best practices.
- Design secure, observable, and scalable data products aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
- Enable data sharing and integration across domains in a data mesh environment.
- Drive continuous improvement, performance optimization, and technical excellence.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and DevOps practices.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Knowledge of large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloud Run, DBT, Iceberg, Hudi, Avro, and Parquet.
- Understanding of data governance, cataloging, and data observability.
- Exposure to analytics and data visualization tools.
