POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and administering occupational therapy treatment programs designed to improve function, reduce pain, prevent disabilities, and promote the overall health and well-being of our patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides treatment plans per the physician’s orders and by planning and carrying out an appropriate occupational therapy evaluation of the patient.
- Establishes an occupational therapy diagnosis, treatment plan and creates goals for the patient according to their evaluation.
- Maintains patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Complies with the Pennsylvania State Occupational Therapy Act, codes, and regulations.
- Be willing to assist in other facilities as requested by the center manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current Pennsylvania Occupational therapy license or license eligible.
- Outpatient experience preferred, not required.
- CPR certification is required.
