About the Role
Our customer is a leading European online car marketplace, serving more than 30 million monthly users across 18 countries.
They are launching a company-wide initiative to embed AI and agentic ways of working into Product and User Experience. We are looking for a senior, hands-on Technical Product Manager to help define, pilot and scale an AI-enabled product-development methodology across approximately 100 Product and UX professionals in Europe and Canada.
This is an individual contributor role for someone with strong product judgement, practical AI adoption experience and enough technical fluency to turn AI capabilities into repeatable, valuable ways of working. The focus is not on introducing isolated tools or use cases, but on transforming how Product, UX and Engineering teams collaborate throughout the product-development lifecycle.
This position is available on a part-time basis with flexible working hours (20+ hours per week)
What You Will Do:
- Define and champion a clear vision for an AI-enabled Product and UX organization, translating it into a pragmatic, staged transformation plan.
- Design, test and roll out AI-enabled and agentic workflows across the product lifecycle — from discovery and requirements definition to prototyping, experimentation and delivery.
- Establish practical workflows in which Product Managers use tools such as GitHub, Codex or comparable AI-assisted tools to create and improve product requirements, while UX teams use these outputs to accelerate low-fidelity prototypes.
- Partner with cross-functional pilot teams to identify high-value use cases, test and refine new ways of working, and validate their value through iterative delivery.
- Turn proven approaches into scalable playbooks, templates, governance and enablement materials that teams can adopt independently.
- Assess AI tools, workflows and adoption barriers pragmatically, with a focus on business value, quality, usability and responsible implementation.
- Align Product, UX, Engineering and senior leadership around priorities, decisions, progress, risks and next steps.
- Structure, coordinate and track multiple transformation workstreams; measure adoption and impact, using feedback and data to continuously improve the methodology.
- Provide strategic direction while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day delivery of the transformation.
Must Have:
- Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Lead, Product Operations leader or in a similar product-facing transformation role.
- Strong product background and credibility with Product leadership; ability to connect customer and business value with technical possibilities and make sound prioritization decisions.
- Demonstrable experience driving AI adoption, change management, product operating-model transformation or internal enablement across multiple teams.
- Hands-on experience applying generative AI, LLM-based tools, copilots or workflow automation in a product-development setting.
- Practical familiarity with GitHub, Codex, GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted development and product tools, including the ability to identify and implement valuable use cases for Product and UX teams.
- Good understanding of agentic ways of working and how AI can reshape roles, workflows and the product-development lifecycle.
- Experience designing, piloting and scaling processes, operating models or ways of working across Product, UX/Design and Engineering teams.
- Strong program execution skills: able to structure, coordinate, track and report progress across multiple workstreams while maintaining momentum.
- Sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively with Engineering and understand APIs, software-delivery workflows, data and limitations of AI tools. Coding expertise is not required.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfortable operating under ambiguity and influencing senior Product and Technology stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a marketplace, e-commerce, classifieds, consumer-facing or high-growth environment.
- Experience scaling AI practices across distributed, multi-country organizations.
- Experience helping Product and UX teams improve discovery, requirements definition, prototyping or experimentation.
What Success Looks Like After Six Months:
- Pilot teams are using AI meaningfully in Product and UX workflows.
- A practical AI-enabled product-development methodology is documented, tested and ready to scale.
- Product requirements and early UX prototypes are produced faster and with greater consistency.
- Teams have the playbooks, tools and confidence to adopt the approach independently.
- Leadership has clear visibility into adoption, impact, risks and next steps.
