Your Mission
The Process engineer manages and supports production activities relating to the industrial process within the plant, collaborating with the various departments – at both plant and group level – as well as with external partners and suppliers, to ensure that the plant’s process meets the requirements and achieves the targets set in terms of safety, quality, productivity and costs.
Your Responsibilities
Action plans relating to KPI targets and deviations, as well as audit non-conformities.
Continuous improvement, including the staff suggestions and ideas.
Implementation of best practices and lessons learnt.
Planning and management of shifts and staff (permanent staff and agency workers).
Creation and management of local work instructions, such as Total Productive Maintenance.
Training local teams in the process and work instructions at the various work centers.
Ensuring compliance with procedures within their area of responsibility, including workshop audits.
Root cause analysis of internal or customer incidents (process-related) and production line rejects.
Collection of industrial process data and the definition, reporting and analysis of KPIs.
Work on industrial equipment and software, such as repairs, programming and modifications.
Configuration of assembly/sequencing equipment in collaboration with Quality and Supply Chain.
Occasionally, substitutions for team leaders when they are absent.
In coordination with the Group’s IT department: development, implementation and supervision of IT systems related to the industrial process, such as ERP, MES and sequencing software.
In coordination with the Group’s Production and Innovation department: Maintains contact with the plant’s suppliers to monitor their current and future developments.
Cooperates with suppliers and partners to achieve project objectives at the plant, in collaboration with local and project teams, and the relevant departments
Supports the installation, commissioning, handover and acceptance of new industrial solutions at the plant, in collaboration with the relevant departments within the Group.
Your Profile
Educational Background and Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in the automotive sector).
Technical/engineering degree.
