$15–$20/hour | Monday–Friday, 2:00–5:30 PM

Every afternoon, kids across Jefferson City count on a safe, reliable ride to the Club, where they get homework help, mentoring, and a place to belong. As our Van Driver, you're the first friendly face they see after school and the person who makes sure they arrive safely. If you're a careful driver who enjoys kids and wants a part-time job that matters, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport Club members between schools, Club sites, and field trips, following established routes and schedules

• Greet and supervise kids on board, making sure everyone is accounted for, follows safety rules, and knows how to board and exit the van properly

• Arrive at pickup points on time and stay within passenger limits

• Keep the van clean, check its condition daily, keep a vehicle log, and report any maintenance needs

• Record and report any accidents or incidents to your supervisor

• Stay in close contact with the Railton Center Unit Director and Director of Operations about daily routes, schedule changes, and emergencies

• Take part in trainings, safety courses, and staff meetings

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Missouri Class E driver's license and a clean driving record

• Experience driving groups of people

• Solid knowledge of transportation safety rules and good route-planning skills

• Basic understanding of vehicle upkeep

• A positive attitude and the ability to be a role model and build rapport with kids, families, and staff

• Availability weekday afternoons, with occasional evening or event hours

Requirements

• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification

• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

• Must meet Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services health and employment requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and drive daily
