Logistics Coordinator Bulk Trade Sales

Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator – Bulk Trade Sales to support and optimise national supply chain operations within the bulk chemical trading environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating logistics, managing documentation, supporting inventory planning and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, transport providers and other stakeholders. This role requires an organised, analytical and solutions-driven professional with strong logistics coordination experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage shipping, customs, inventory and other logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, delivery schedules and supporting documentation.
• Track the movement of bulk chemical products and ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
• Coordinate with transport providers and warehouses regarding loading, unloading, storage and product movements.
• Proactively identify and resolve shipment delays, supply issues and operational challenges.
• Provide the sales team with accurate updates regarding inventory availability, deliveries and potential supply constraints.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment, safety stock planning and order prioritisation.
• Provide relevant supply chain information and insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, documentation controls and communication between teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
• 5–10 years’ experience within logistics, supply chain or a similar operational environment.
• Previous experience within bulk trading, chemicals or bulk logistics will be highly advantageous.
• Strong logistics coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational and documentation management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Adaptable, collaborative and customer-focused.
• Ability to work effectively across sales, supply chain, logistics and inventory functions.
