As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, greeting residents and guests, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and support residents with exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access to the residential location by verifying visitor authorization, checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests and vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by communicating professionally with residents and staff while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
