Job Description:

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Setup: Hybrid (SCB or SMNE) – 3x a week onsite

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Healthcare Billing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting billing and reimbursement processes for healthcare professionals, ensuring billing accuracy, compliance, and timely revenue recognition.

As a Healthcare Billing Specialist, you will:

• Process billing and reimbursement data for healthcare professionals, including clinicians, doctors, and nurses.
• Validate time records, billing rates, and service details before invoices are processed.
• Ensure billing complies with client contracts, facility agreements, and internal policies.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, adjustments, and basic invoice-related concerns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure billing accuracy.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready billing documentation.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), billing timelines, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Consistently meet daily productivity and quality targets.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in billing, finance, operations, or administrative support using a Vendor Management System (VMS). Local experience is welcome.
• Basic understanding of billing, invoicing, or reimbursement processes.
• Strong data validation and reconciliation skills.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of numerical accuracy.
• Skills & Competencies
• Process-oriented with the ability to work effectively within structured workflows.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform high-volume, repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare staffing, provider billing, or shared services.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology.

Work Schedule

• Philippine Night Shift (start times may vary between 7:00 PM and 12:00 AM Manila Time).
• Must be willing to work shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
