Job Position Overview:
The JAVA Software Developer will design, develop, deploy, and maintain
applications that support our travel services and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Programming & Support: Perform complex programming tasks for legacy
system modernization into an Java environment. Modify existing
systems for cybersecurity compliance.
· System Migration: Migrate legacy applications to updated platforms, ensuring
alignment with industry best practices and maximizing system uptime.
· Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues,
monitor system capacity, and ensure applications’ connectivity to vendor APIs.
· Documentation & Standards: Create software documentation and architecture
diagrams. Adhere to development standards and security requirements.
Detailed Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support for applications using Java, C#, jQuery,
AJAX, React, and SQL Server.
· Use Visual Studio 2019/2022 for development, ensuring compatibility with major
web browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
· Add functionality to streamline backend processes and improve system efficiency.
· Execute disaster recovery procedures and provide Tier 2 technical support.
· Collaborate to define system specifications, design architecture, perform testing,
and document all source code.

· SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL (3 years)

· REST and SOAP APIs

Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of GIT source control.
· Knowledge of postman, SOAP UI, or other api testing tools.
· Experience in the Travel Industry, preferably development with Online/Offline
Booking Systems (Concur, Amadeus, Travelport+)
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a
related field.
