Essential Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Manage material inventory, including tracking, issuing, and replenishing stock to support project operations
- Coordinate the storage, handling, and distribution of materials while maintaining organized warehouse and laydown areas
- Verify packing slips, shipping documents, and material certifications for completeness and accuracy
- Conduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
- Work within site permit systems, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Materials Technician, Materials Coordinator, Warehouseperson, or similar role in an industrial, construction, mining, or oil and gas environment
- Experience managing inventory, shipping and receiving, and material control processes
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, material specifications, and shipping documentation
- Previous forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days as required
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
