About Mirror Ministries 

Mirror Ministries’ mission is to respond to domestic minor sex-trafficking with the love of Christ through local education, intervention, restoration, and aftercare. Mirror Ministries works throughout Benton and Franklin counties to provide training, education, and awareness to local schools, agencies, and businesses.  A team of advocates, counselors, and volunteers provides intensive case management through counseling, therapeutic services, mentors, and survivor support groups at the Mirror Ministries Outreach Center and our youth restoration home, Esther’s Home. Mirror Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to serving people of all faiths and backgrounds. 

 

Program Support Receptionist Job Summary  

The Program Support Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, volunteers, and callers while providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the organization. This role ensures the office runs efficiently through reception services, communication coordination, inventory management, scheduling assistance, data tracking, donation processing, and volunteer support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Administrative & Office Operations 

  • Welcome and assist visitors, volunteers, donors, and community partners 

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner 

  • Coordinate scheduling and calendar-related activities 

  • Prepare materials and support for CEO and COO meetings 

  • Accept packages and deliveries and route items to the appropriate staff member 

  • Run occasional off-site errands 

  • Maintain breakroom organization and cleanliness 

  • Help maintain an orderly office environment including caring for indoor office plants 

  • Process incoming mail and donations, maintain correspondence logs, and distribute mail appropriately 

  • Create deposit for CEO, log accounts receivable into Bloomerang Donor database 

  • Organizational Support, Communications, & Data Management 

  • Provide administrative support to organization programs and staff 

  • Prepare and distribute team announcements and weekly staff communications 

  • Coordinate weekly Prayer Partner communications 

  • Record daily stand-up meeting minutes & monthly staff meetings minutes 

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and organizational events 

  • Prepare materials and documentation for meetings involving the CEO and COO 

  • Maintain Staff Favorites list and manage birthday entries on staff calendar 

  • Manage records, correspondence logs, and other administrative documentation 

  • Coordinate Secret Shopper activities as assigned 

  • Maintain Staff Calendar 

  • Inventory, Donations, & Volunteer Coordination 

  • Monitor, order, stock, and organize office and program supplies 

  • Maintain inventory of organizational swag and promotional materials 

  • Receive and process in-kind donations and complete required documentation 

  • Track donations and communicate donation information to staff  

  • Welcome, orient, and support volunteers serving at the Outreach Center. 

 Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Must have an active and vital relationship with Jesus and be a part of a supportive faith community outside of Mirror Ministries 

  • Must agree with our Statement of Faith (see below) 

  • Must have reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record 

  • Must be comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities 

  • Must be professional, teachable, and a humble servant leader 

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills as well as professional verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Customer service mindset with a welcoming and professional demeanor. 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently. 

  • Willingness and ability to learn about the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) 

  • Willingness and ability to learn about complex trauma and its impacts on the brain and behavior; ability to learn and implement knowledge of trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive care  

  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite  

  • Must be flexible and able to respond to leadership directives promptly 

  • Must be faithful and committed to the role in a consistent manner 

  • Strong work ethic and time management skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One year previous administrative, receptionist, office coordinator, or nonprofit support experience. 

  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Teams  

Reports to: CEO & COO 

Schedule:   Full Time Weekdays 

Location:    On-Site at the Outreach Center - Kennewick, Washington 

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour  

Additional Benefits:  

  • 80 hours accrued paid time off per year (PTO) 

  • Accrued sick time as per WA State law
