• Role Type: Permanent part time, 24 hours per week

• Shift details: Day shifts only, no night shifts required

• Department and Location: Mater Clinic Theatre, Mater Hospital, Sydney, NSW

• Salary: $34.37 AUD base per hour + super

About the Role

• This role will be pivotal in support for the perioperative team ensuring patient flow and a positive patient experience while contributing to the overall standard of care delivered.

• Transporting and manual handling of patients to and from the Operating Theatre.

• Care and maintenance of equipment used during surgery. 

About You

• Previous hospital or Operating Room experience.

• A commitment to attending conferences and lectures as identified as requirements for this position.

• Knowledge of the Department of Health Guidelines and Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety, Infection Control and their impact on the delivery of care.

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
