Job Description:

Essentia is hiring a day shift Department Coordinator. This role provides administrative and office support for a department, including scheduling, coordination, reporting, document management, and confidential project support while using Microsoft Office tools and Epic.

Performs complex, diverse, and confidential administrative support duties and general office duties for respective department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordination and scheduling, department faxing and scanning, preparation of routine and non-routine reports and special assignments/projects. Provides other support to staff within the department as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year office experience.
• Proficient and comprehensive skills in personal computer software systems and applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and databases (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

• Have at least 1 year of office or administrative support experience, ideally in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Bring strong written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable interacting with team members, leaders, and other departments.
• Have experience with scheduling, calendar management, coordination, and keeping department workflows running smoothly.
• Are highly organized, able to multitask, and can manage confidential information, reports, projects, scanning/faxing, and day-to-day office duties with accuracy.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, and have experience using Epic or a similar electronic medical record system.
