Position Summary:

The GSE & Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, inspection, and operation of ground support equipment (GSE) and facility infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role performs routine maintenance, assists with repairs, and supports facility upkeep to maintain operational readiness across the site.

The position works closely with the Equipment & Facilities Manager and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards, and timely resolution of maintenance needs.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on ground support equipment and facility systems
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs for GSE, vehicles, and facility infrastructure
• Ensure all equipment is safe, operational, and ready for daily use
• Support facility upkeep, including basic repairs, maintenance tasks, and coordination of service requests
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status
• Assist with inventory management, storage, and organization of equipment and tools
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repair work as directed
• Identify and report equipment issues, safety hazards, or facility concerns
• Assist with setup and preparation for operational needs and special events
• Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Support equipment cleaning, fueling, and general upkeep as needed
• Assist in maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, or facilities support
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Experience - Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, automotive, or GSE support preferred
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aviation, FBO, or ground support equipment operations
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and equipment handling procedures
• Technical or trade certification (mechanical, electrical, or similar)

Travel Requirements:

• Minimal travel required

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• In-person role in an active FBO and ramp environment
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working with tools and equipment
• Must be able to lift, carry, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and operational equipment
• Ability to lift and move equipment as required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
