Your Role in Carbery's Success

To assist in ensuring an effective dairy dispatch warehouse and cheese production planning function.

How You Will Contribute

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

How You Will Contribute:-

  • Coordinate with the in-house sales team to support accurate and timely processing of customer orders
  • Support dispatch planning activities
  • Track and resolve shipping errors and customer queries
  • Generate shipment paperwork for EU and non-EU movements
  • Liaise with Production on product availability and allocation
  • Coordinate transport providers to ensure prompt and accurate movement of shipments
  • Liaise across departments on inventory control matters
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Process invoices using relevant IT systems, including AX, SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Adhere to site standards and procedures
  • Update and maintain procedural documentation
  • Participate positively in team meetings
  • Support cross-training within the team
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure all services provided meet required quality standards
  • Participate in and co-chair the daily Cheese Dispatch meeting
  • Ensure KPIs are available for relevant meetings
  • Raise issues in a timely manner and escalate when necessary

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Essential Requirements:-

  • Excellent computer literacy, including Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Positive customer service attitude
  • Strong team player

Desirable Requirements:-

  • Previous experience in order administration and inventory control
