Description
The KYC Operations Lead Analyst is a senior-level individual responsible for assisting in the completion of deliverables that are required as part of the AML / KYC Book of work. The person will support projects and coordinate activities with business leads to ensure consistent quality execution and timely implementation of the AML / KYC deliverables. The BA will take part in conducting project business analysis necessary for implementations and to shape the most efficient processes for the business while meeting regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project analyst activities and tracking across various workstreams and providing leadership support across planning, organizing, coordinating, executing and monitoring implementation activities.
- Reviews deliverables, plans and oversees day-to-day activities and tracking.
- Assists in the development of the project schedule and all other project work plans.
- Ensures quality in project documentation and that projects have detailed breakdown of activities and milestones.
- Analyzes compliance proposals to enhance our AML/KYC program, ensuring that the business continues to be efficient and proposals are feasible to be implemented.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the projects' interdependencies and key participants, and identifying needs for UAT, training, and implementation.
- Manage implementation strategy, organizational change management, strategy execution and production support, defect/problem tracking.
- Anticipates release challenges and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments to assure the viability, functionality and effectiveness of solutions.
- Drives work stream requirements, communication and reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
- Translates commitments and specific needs to fully documented outputs.
- Works with stakeholders on the local application and requirements to ensure that regulators requirements are met and that Citi is able to meet customer needs
- · Collaborates with business partners and global stakeholders to drive cross-workstream escalation and issue resolution
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in KYC and Project Management
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
