Opportunity: Property Director of Human Resources
Sea Crest Beach Resort is hiring a Director of People Support to lead the human resources function. This role manages the workforce complexities of a large resort in a seasonal coastal market. You will execute recruitment strategies and facilitate employee relations for our hospitality team. The position requires a leader to oversee talent acquisition and compliance while supporting organizational retention goals. You will direct the property culture through total rewards administration and professional development initiatives across all operational departments.

Your Focus
Employee Experience & Culture – Foster a positive, service-driven culture through impactful employee relations programs, engagement initiatives, and leadership coaching, ensuring an inclusive and inspiring workplace for both our year-round and seasonal resort staff.
Strategic Leadership – Oversee all facets of human resources, including talent acquisition, training, scheduling, performance management, and associate engagement, ensuring alignment with brand standards while upholding HHM core values.
Talent Acquisition & Development – Lead a proactive recruitment strategy, guiding hiring managers in selecting the most qualified candidates. Mastermind our complex seasonal hiring initiatives and expertly manage our J1 visa student program to ensure proper staffing levels during peak beach season.
Compliance & Integrity – Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations, specifically navigating the compliance nuances of international work visas. Conduct and oversee internal investigations related to workplace concerns with discretion and professionalism.
Training & Performance Excellence – Design and implement development programs that elevate service excellence and operational performance across all resort departments.
Collaboration & Execution – Partner with HHM’s centralized Human Resources teams to administer benefits, compensation, and compliance programs effectively. Provide guidance on payroll administration and associate support functions as needed.
Your Background and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- 5-7+ years previous Human Resources experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Human Resource certification and/or involvement in local hotel HR community preferred.
