Application Engineer Mask Repair (f/m/x)

• You carry out the process installation and acceptance of our AFM-based Particle Removal Tools (PRT) at leading photomask and semiconductor manufacturers worldwide, working closely with local ZEISS employees.
• Through hands-on, practice-oriented training sessions, you train colleagues and customers in the use of the tool and its applications.
• With your analytical and goal-oriented approach, you contribute as part of the Application Support Team to the rapid resolution of complex issues.
• In coordination with our Product Management team, you convince customers of the capabilities of our latest machine generations by demonstrating new processes and features.
• In collaboration with our customers and local ZEISS employees, you channel improvement suggestions and new use cases into the development process.

• A successfully completed Master’s degree or equivalent qualification natural Sciences, engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
• Ideally, knowledge and experience in our field of work, such as atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDX, and vacuum technology.
• An analytical and customer-oriented approach to work, flexibility, enthusiasm for innovative cutting-edge technology, and enjoyment of working in a team.
• An interest in, or ideally experience with, working with international customers, particularly in Asia and the USA.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including several-week-long international business trips across continents.
