Up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience

As a Medical Secretary at our Chichester Hospital, we are looking for someone who can evidence strong secretarial skills, a keen eye for detail, and great communication abilities. Experience within a medical background is desired. You must be proficient with Microsoft Office, IT literate, working with consultants and different hospital departments, committed to providing our teams with the best level of support. The role is predominantly to support our team’s leave/sickness cover. You may also be asked to help within other departments from time to time. Please note, flexibility is essential, as the role may require covering full weeks during periods of absence or annual leave.

Be a proficient typist, with experience of audio typing
Excellent attention to detail
Strong secretarial skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office whilst being comfortable working with numbers and IT
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
