About the Role

As a Design Evaluation Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the evaluation, characterization, and validation of semiconductor products throughout the development lifecycle. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will perform bench testing, analyze measurement data, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the development of solutions that ensure product performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in evaluating, characterizing, and validating semiconductor devices using established test methods and laboratory equipment.
  • Support debugging and analysis activities to identify and resolve product performance issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and document measurement data, test results, and technical findings.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of evaluation, testing, and automation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Test, Product, Quality, and Applications Engineering.
  • Present project findings and provide recommendations based on test and analysis results.

Must Have Skills

  • Basic understanding of electrical or computer engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuits, test methods, and laboratory measurements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, interpret, and communicate technical data effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and evaluation techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, or similar test instruments.
  • Exposure to programming, scripting, or automation tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C/C++, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with engineering projects, coursework, or research involving testing, data analysis, circuit evaluation, or hardware/software development.
  • Interest in semiconductor product development, validation, and characterization.
