About the role 

As an Educator Food Service, this is your opportunity to support early learning environments while coordinating food service delivery and administration across the ELC. Working closely with the ELC Administration team and Operations Coordinator, you'll help ensure a high-quality experience for children and families.

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this is a casual role based on site, located in Balga, WA.

How you will make an impact 

  • Support the supervision and engagement of children, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Assist in delivering educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and contribute to learning documentation.
  • Prepare and provide nutritious meals and snacks, catering for diverse dietary, cultural, and medical needs.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, stock management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote quality practices in line with National Quality Standards (NQS) and contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with the ELC team, participate in professional development, and support a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

What you will bring 

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Experience in early years settings
  • Commercial food qualification is desirable
  • A national police record check is required
  • Working With Children Check

Conditions 

Compensation is in accordance with Children’s Services Level 3
