Overview / Përmbledhje
TITAN Sharrcem is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its Quality Control Department. The role involves performing chemical tests and analyses required to support the effective operation and quality control activities of the department.
Responsibilities / Përgjegjësitë
- Follow work instructions for sample preparation.
- Carry out tests with accuracy and precision.
- Be responsible for the results obtained from performed tests and for recording all data in logbooks.
- Take care of the cleaning, proper condition and periodic verification of equipment.
- Any loss of or damage to equipment is the responsibility of the shift worker, who is obligated to inform their supervisor.
- Perform sampling of auto-control samples.
- Perform interlaboratory chemical analysis.
- Prepare, test and record the testing results of samples for EUROCERT and IMS.
- Assist with the preparation of concrete mixes.
- Perform other duties as required for quality purposes.
- Carry out additional wet chemical analyses, based on quality control needs, for several materials such as alternative raw materials and/or the soluble chromium (VI) content of clinker and cement.
- Be responsible for the preparation of several chemical solutions and indicators required for carrying out classical methods in all laboratory sectors.
Qualifications / Kualifikimet
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant practical laboratory experience may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of laboratory testing, sample preparation and safe handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy in recording results, and willingness to work in shifts.
