The Gig
As a Part Time Apartment Manager, you’re the onsite go-to for keeping the community running smoothly, equal parts friendly host and detail hawk. This role exists to keep residents supported, standards high, and issues handled.
Key responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for resident questions, concerns, and requests
- Walk the property regularly to spot maintenance needs and curb-appeal fixes
- Coordinate with maintenance/vendors to track repairs through completion
- Support leasing/admin work: applications, lease paperwork, and accurate records
- Help create a welcoming, well-managed resident experience
What you’ll bring
- Clear, professional communication and strong customer service instincts
- Organization, follow-through, and comfort juggling shifting priorities
- Problem-solving mindset and a calm, respectful approach
If you’re ready to help us “Accomplish a Wow!” in San Diego, apply today.
Your Weekly Rhythm
Because you live onsite, your commute is basically a few confident steps and a quick scan of messages. You’ll knock out the fast wins first: reply to a resident note, flag anything urgent, and decide what needs a same-day nudge.
Next comes a casual-but-intentional walk-throughs: entrances, common areas, and the little stuff that quietly makes a difference. Then the schedule does what it does best: flex. If a prospect pops up, you switch into tour mode and keep things moving without making it feel like a sales pitch. If it’s a quiet day, you’re checking in on open items as needed, confirming timelines, and making sure nothing is drifting.
Most weeks stay under 10 hours for this Part Time Apartment Manager role, no set hours, just smart touchpoints.
